Sinolight signed an agreement on sugar factory expansion in Sri Lanka

Recently, China Haisum Engineering (Guangzhou), a subsidiary of Sinolight, together with China National Aero-Technology International Engineering Corporation (Hereinafter referred to as AVIC International) and Galoya Plantations, held a signing ceremony for the consulting service and equipment supply project in terms of the production line expansion of Galoya Sugar Factory in Sri Lanka. This project will help the factory increase production capacity and reduce energy consumption, and provide important support for Sri Lanka to reduce sugar imports and accelerate economic and social development.

New achievements of Haisum

At the signing ceremony, Ishara Nanayakkara, Chairman of LOLC Group, the parent company of Galoya Plantations, fully affirmed the profound technical background, innovative pioneering spirit, high-quality service and lean operation management of Haisum (Guangzhou) in the sugar industry, and gave high expectations for the follow-up project progress. He hoped to take this cooperation as an opportunity to continuously upgrade the level of cooperation, expand the areas of cooperation, and achieve mutual benefit and common development.

Sri Lanka is one of the most important markets for Haisum's overseas operation. The local Galoya Sugar Factory is currently one of the best running sugar factories in Sri Lanka. It was once in charge of designing, manufacturing and putting in place China's first batch of sugar factories as well as those located overseas for foreign aid. Haisum (Guangzhou) has participated in the construction of most sugar factories after the founding of the People's Republic of China, and witnessed the emergence and development of China's sugar industry. Since this year, China Haisum Engineering (Shanghai) has successively won the bid for Vietnamese company Cheng Loong's Phase II 10000 m³/d wastewater treatment project and the "paper for plastic" project of a leading pulp molding enterprise in Vietnam, taking the lead in undertaking overseas energy conservation and environmental protection projects.

Cocoa Processing and Storage Project in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire

In addition, China Haisum Engineering (Nanning) undertook the key project namely the Cocoa Processing and Storage Project in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire. At present, the project has entered the stage of installing the main steel structure. Recently, a ceremony has been held for the delivery of main structure for installation and for the installation of the main steel structure, which marked that the project "has grown out of the ground" and entered a new construction stage.
