Poly Group Successfully Held the “Overseas Cloud Open Day” Event

On November 27, the “Overseas Cloud Open Day” event of Poly Group was held in Beijing New Poly Building. Under the guidance of SASAC, the event is an important measure taken by Poly Group to actively enhance the creativity, appeal and credibility of its external discourse and to tell the Chinese story well and strengthen cultural exchanges between China and the West.

The SASAC, representatives of central enterprises, and mainstream media including the English website of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, Xinhua News Agency, China Daily, Global Net, China Net, People’s Daily Online, and CGTN participated in the event. Zhang Hao, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Disciplinary Committee of Poly Group, Liu Juncai, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager, Fu Jun, Director of the Press Center, Jiang Yingchun, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director and General Manager of Poly Culture Group, and Chairman of Poly Culture North America Investment Co., Ltd., Xu Jian, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Beijing Poly Theater Management Co., Ltd., and Cao Hongwen, General Manager of Beijing Poly Music Art Development Co., Ltd. attended the event.

The digital show clips included in this event were a fusion of Chinese and Western classical music and folk music. The president of the Vancouver Academy of Music and the famous Canadian cellist Joseph played the traditional Chinese song “MuGe”, Gao Can, a professor at the Central Conservatory of Music, a well-known Chinese violinist, and co-founder and music director of Poly WeDo Music & Art, played Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons”. At the end of the performance, the Poly WeDo Children’s Choir and the Vancouver Academy of Music Symphony Orchestra jointly performed "The Same Song" online, the theme of “spreading love and hope through Chinese and Western music cooperation” is expressed in the singing.
