The donation ceremony of the works of “Xinjiang oil paintings’ national trip ” was hold in the Great Hall of the People on Sep. 10. Ismail Tiliwaldi, vice chairman of the standing committee of National People’s Congress, Hu wei, Party member of the standing committee of Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region of CPC and Director of Department of Publicity of Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region committee of CPC, chairman Chen Hongsheng and president Zhang Zhengao of Poly Group, general manager An Shengjie and Board director Yu Qiuming of Poly Energy attended the ceremony.
The donation was an important part of the series activities of the “Xinjiang oil paintings’ national trip ”. Four works, deliberately painted after spot-collection in Xinjiang by the 4 famous painters: Ai Xuan, Wang Yidong, Yang Feiyun and Guo Runwen respectively were donated to Xinjiang free of charge, which substantially supported the oil paintings’ development in Xinjiang. On the ceremony, the four artists were awarded the “Honorary advisor of Xinjiang Artists Association”.
“Xinjiang oil paintings’ national trip” was organized by the Publicity Department of Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region committee of CPC, China Poly Group and Phoenix TV which lasted for over a year with the three parts of spot-collection production, domestic exhibition tour and international communications. More than 150 outstanding works by Chinese realism painters and local artists of Xinjiang were on the tour in Guangdong, Shanghai, Xinjiang, Beijing and Hongkong. Some of the paintings were successfully put into auction in “Beijing Poly 2012 Spring Auction” in early June.
