The opening ceremony for Beijing stop of “Xinjiang oil paintings’ national trip” exhibition organized by the Publicity Ministry of Xinjiang CPC committee, China Poly Group Corporation and Phoenix TV was held in New Poly Plaza of Beijing on May 20, 2012. Li Yi, Deputy secretary of the leading party group of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Erkejiang Turahong, member of the standing committee of Xinjiang, leaders from Beijing and Xinjiang, chairman Chen Hongsheng, president Zhang Zhengao and other leaders of Poly Group attended the ceremony. Erkejiang Turahong and president Zhang Zhengao made speech respectively.
The stop was the fourth after Guangzhou, Shanghai and Urumqi as well as the last one for the national exhibition, which had gained great concern and reputation in pursuit of the cultural exchange and cooperation between Xinjiang and inland areas. It was also a symbol of Poly’s fulfillment of social responsibility and full support to the policy of national’s aid to Xinjiang. The exhibition would be open to public freely from May 20 to 27, then a special auction would be held for part of these paintings in early June in the “Beijing Poly 2012 Spring Auction”. After the exhibition, 150 paintings would begin another international tour to show a beautiful, confident, prosperous and harmonious Xinjiang to the whole world.
