The opening ceremony for Xinjiang stop of “Xiangjiang oil paintings’ national trip” exhibition organized by the Publicity Ministry of Xinjiang CPC committee, China Poly Group Corporation and Phoenix TV was held in Xinjiang on April 27, 2012. Zhang Chunxian, Party secretary of CPC committee of Xinjiang autonomous region, other leaders of different levels of Xinjiang autonomous region, chairman Chen Hongsheng and president Zhang Zhengao of Poly Group attended the ceremony. Chairman of Xinjiang autonomous region Nuer Baikly and president Zhang Zhengao made speech respectively; Party secretary Zhang Chunxian and chairman Chen Hongsheng inaugurated the exhibition together.
The stop was the third after Guangzhou and Shanghai, which had gained great concern and reputation and would conclude on May 6. Then a special auction would be held for these paintings at the end of May in Poly Art Museum, after which, they would begin another international tour to show a beautiful, confident, prosperous and harmonious Xinjiang to the whole world.
During the stay in Xinjiang, chairman Chen and president Zhang also met with leaders from Xinjiang Production and Construction Crops, signed strategic cooperative frame agreement for further reciprocal cooperation in the fields of real estate, mineral resources and cultural industry.
