President Zhang Zhengao and vice president Wang Xu went to Linzhi of Tibet for the inspection of Guangdong’s support to Tibet from March 29 to 31, invited by Zhu Xiaodan, deputy Party Secretary of Guangdong provincial committee of CPC and governor of Guangdong.
On March 29, vice president Wang attended Guangdong-Tibet supporting working meeting. Concerned departments of the two provinces and representatives of large-scale enterprises took part in the meeting. After listening to the designing and planning report of Lulang international town, Poly was invited to the inspection and investment of Lulang town.
On March 30, the cornerstone laying ceremony of Lulang international town was held in Linzhi of Tibet. Governor of Guangdong province Zhu Xiaodan and chairman of the Tibetan autonomous region Bai Machilin attended the ceremony and addressed respectively. Other government officials of the two provinces and managing directors of large-scaled enterprises including Poly also took part in the meeting. President Zhang expressed the strong support of the polity to support Tibet and would make thorough study and discussion of the concerned project.
